LPR Automation LLC is engaged in a wide range of control engineering and automation services primarily in the South-Central Kentucky region.
LPR Automation consists of a group of controls engineers, each of which specialize in a variety of applications due to their experience and education. We work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide embedded engineering assistance as well as implementing small to medium size automation projects. Our primary focus is delivering automation solutions based on the Rockwell Factory Talk platform.
Matt obtained his BS EET degree from WKU and is a 35-year veteran in the Automation field. In the first stage of his career, Matt worked for a wide variety of companies and industries in Project/Plant engineering roles. Companies such as Michelin Tire, Ashland Petroleum (now Marathon), Brown/Quebecor Printing & TEKNO (Material Handling). In more recent years, Matt has worked in the Systems Integration business both as an employee and owner. Matt has been certified by Rockwell Automation in Factory Talk Historian, Vantage Point, Metrics and ThinManager software products. He has also achieved the Certified Solution Architect designation by Stratus Technologies.
Scott obtained his BS Electrical Engineering Degree from Western Kentucky University in 2009. Scott has spent his entire engineering career working as a system integrator. As a controls engineer, he is well versed in many different manufacturers products including products from Rockwell, Siemens, Yaskawa, Kuka Robotics, Pro-face, Turck, Banner, and others. His many years of experience has raised him to the level of project manager. His experience ranges from retrofitting stand-alone equipment to managing and designing complete line integration projects. Scott has been certified by Rockwell Automation in ThinManager.
Sr. Controls Engineer
Chris obtained his BS EET degree from WKU in 1985 and has worked in the controls, automation and drives environment for 36 years. His background includes roles from starting as a tech to working as an engineer, plant engineer, applications engineer and senior engineer. Industry experience in printing, laminating, blown film extrusion, hygiene products and aluminum roll coating.
Jordan obtained his BS Electrical Engineering Degree from Western Kentucky University in 2013 and has several years of system integrator controls engineering work under his belt. He has dealt with a wide variety of customer types from his system integrator experience, dealing with retrofits as well as stand-alone and full line integration turn-key projects. He has worked with a wide range of products which include Rockwell, Omron, ABB Robotics, Kuka Robotics, AutoCAD, and many others. His wide diversity of previous experience brings many opportunities to the table for us to take on diverse customer types and continue to grow. Jordan has been certified by Rockwell Automation in ThinManager.
Allen obtained his BS Mechanical Engineering Degree from Western Kentucky University in 2010. Allen began working with Electrical/Industrial controls during his time at Western Kentucky. This experience lead to a career working as an in house Systems Engineer in the distribution field. While performing systems upgrades and new line installations, Allen worked with a variety of products from Rockwell, Phoenix Contact, ProSoft, Pro-face, Beckhoff, Cognex, and many others. Allen was responsible for providing general support and troubleshooting help for multiple distribution center locations.
Lisa obtained her BS in Business Administration from WKU. She has over 30 years of experience in various administrative positions. She handles the Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Payroll and other administrative duties.
